The circles of life.

For the longest of times, we’ve always thought that healing was meant to be a process of certainty. We’ve always seen it as a process that comes neat. That everything in healing runs smoothly.

But the truth is, healing is messy. Healing is abstract. It comes in different forms. We feel them in different fonts. It’s not always as calm as the ocean. Some other times, healing could look as chaotic as the storm. And it’s okay.

Just because you’re struggling in the process of your healing, it does not mean that you aren’t getting better. Just because one second you feel all the joy the world has come to give you, then the next second you feel the world crushing down on you, does not mean you are not getting any better. It does not mean that you are not healing.

The thing with nature law, it always walk hand in hand with imperfections. If a magnet could have two poles -one is south pole, the other is north pole- So does life. If a battery could have two sides, -positive side, and negative side- So does healing.

Healing comes imperfectly. Healing comes in many forms of discomfort. So if by any chance in life, you get to feel the imperfections of healing, Congratulations! You’re on the right path! You’re growing in the healthiest way possible.

Many misunderstood, thinking that healing comes smoothly. But the truth is, it’s very abstract. You cry, you smile. You fall down, you get up. So, be kind to yourself. Remind yourself that it’s okay. You’re okay. Be gentle with yourself. Be gentle with your emotions. Everyone has their own time-line of healing. Trust the process, believe in yourself.

If by some time, during your time of healing, you feel a rush of sadness within yourself, welcome it. You have to muster the courage to sit with the sadness, sit with the pain, even if it makes you hard to breathe. Even if it makes you feel like throwing up.

We must build up the courage, to feel it, hear it, go through it, and by some time, loosen the grip, and finally let go.

In the process of healing, there is discomfort. In the process of growth, there is pain. Let it come through you. The moment you choose to heal, is the moment you accept the discomfort of change, and accepting the imperfection of it.

Without imperfections, without flaws, there will be no growth. Without pain, without scars, there will be no growth.

So, take your time. Take as much time as you need to help you heal. Enjoy every second of the progress you make in healing. Breathe in, breathe deep, breathe through, breathe out. Be so alive, that you thank your emotions for it.
